AHILYA BAI COLLEGE OF NURSING

It gives me great pleasure to say with pride that I have completed my BSc (H) Nursing (2015-2019 Batch) from Ahilya Bai College of Nursing. The relationship between faculties and students is very cordial and supportive. I have got enough knowledge about theoretical aspect of Nursing along with a great and vast clinical experience. Also it provides the opportunities to the students to participate in extracurricular activities and continuously motivate the students to do better for their personal and professional growth. I would like to thank ABCON and all the faculties and staff for moulding and making better version of mine.

I'm a batch of 2014-18 from one of the prestigious Colleges of Nursing in Delhi, that's our Ahilyabai College of Nursing, Lok Nayak Hospital; fondly called by us as ABCON. I came to Nursing with zero previous knowledge about it as no one in my family was in this field. But ABCON taught me its alpha beta and everything beyond. The atmosphere here is so student friendly, all our teachers are so knowledgable and guide us in every possible way they can and the hostel is so amazing whose equivalent I couldn't find anywhere. ABCON is the coolest college with numerous cultural programmes round the year, we celebrate every festival and party with equal enthusiasm. ABCON taught me so much not only in my academics but also in improving me as a person. Today I'm working as a Nursing Officer in a Central Government Hospital in Delhi and most of my friends too are working in various prestigious institutions not only in India but abroad as well. And I can boast that if not for ABCON, I wouldn't be able to crack all the competitive exams that I appeared in so smoothly and so soon after being graduated. My love, respect and dedication towards my profession are the values which I learnt in ABCON. I have so much more to say about it but the gist is that I'm so blessed and so proud to be an alumni of ABCON. It's just the best thing that happened to me, the best decision I took after my 12th. I miss u a lot my ABCON and I'll try my best to always make you proud.

It was a great experience studying at ahilya bai college of nursing, a memory to cherish for lifetime. All four years were full of learning. I have established many skills like time management, leadership skills etc. being linked to Lok Nayak hospital it provides us opportunities to develop all the nursing skills to its best. The best practical experience you will get here . The faculty helped me to enhance my academic as well as practical experience.

It was a great learning experience. Our teachers not only teaches us but also guides, counsel and was always our strength in pursuing our dreams. Today I can proudly say that I completed my B.Sc. (Hons)Nursing degree from ABCON and my clinical experience from Lok Nayak Hospital. This hospital gave us the opportunity to work and to learn in every field be it medicine, emergency or surgical block. Overall it give us skill, knowledge and confidence to pass any situation with flying colors

I must start by saying that Iam very proud to be graduated from this esteemed institution. All the teachers here work towards the betterment of students not only as a nurse but also as a good human. They bring out the best in their students. ABCON gave me complete clinical exposure to all the departments, be it med-surg, psychiatry, community, gynaecology, pediatrics etc from the Lok Nayak Hospital. The hospital staff was also very supportive and encouraging, who taught us everything they could. Along with studies, the college encourages co-curricular activities for the students so that they can showcase their variant talents. Students collectively organise workshops, functions, exhibitions etc.
