Ahilya Bai College of Nursing affiliated to University of Delhi is an integral part of Lok Nayak Hospital (LNH) and Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), The study programme at ABCON is unique for the Nursing Education and complies with INC and DNC norms and is funded by Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
We have one of the best college buildings with facilities of well-furnished Labs, Class Rooms, Faculty Room, Library, Hostel and Mess which makes us one of the prestigious institutes. The college is expecting massive renovation in terms of smart classrooms, computer labs, conference hall, laboratories and auditorium.
Our associated Hospitals to impart practical training are Lok Nayak Hospital, GB Pant and Guru Nanak Eye Centre, which are renowned Hospitals in Delhi, India and Asia. The bed strength and state of art facilitates in all the associated hospital caters to give rich clinical experiences to our nursing students and provides wide spectrum of learning experiences so as to promote holistic development.
We at ABCON have an annual intake of 50 students. We have formed various committees in college to enhance Academic and Nonacademic capabilities and provide support whenever required for the students. Despite packed curriculum we focus on comprehensive development of our students to enhance students' participation and bring laurels by involving students in cultural and sport activities organized by SNA and other state & national level organizations.
I look forward to express gratitude for constant support of the eminent faculty and competent authorities to help us in our endeavor to produce future leaders, faculties, Innovative scientist and professional nurses to cater to the health needs of the society.
